My dear Marcia, how I am going to miss your love, hugs, and laughter in the Sundays to come. I always looked forward to seeing you in church and could hardly wait to hear your funny comments.  I will never forget the Sunday when I was at church alone, and you asked where my husband was. I responded that he was in Reno, NV for a conference. When the Bishop came by to say "good morning" you promptly looked at him and said 'Tracy's husband went to Vegas to get married.' The look on his face was priceless. While I was in Idaho this past weekend I searched all over town for a post card to send to you, knowing that if I didn't send you one, you would give me a hard time when I returned. Well, I have your post card that I didn't get to send and it will stay with me, tucked away with the ones I received from you. We shall miss you greatly here, but rejoice in your return to our Heavenly Father and to your children and family who left before you. Our condolences to your family here on earth and prayers for their comfort and peace in the days to come. { :hearts: Tracy }

Marcia felt like a family member to me.  I can remember the Goodins in my ward when I was growing up, later in my life I was happy to see a familiar face in a new ward I started attending in Selma.  She was always so kind to me and my children, making us feel welcome at church even when we first started coming and didn't know anyone very well. My children and I will never forget her, she showed us love and acceptance by a simple guenuine hug and heartfelt smile.  She had a sweet, compassionate personality that I connected with and she was easy to talk to both down to earth and understanding.  I will miss seeing her dearly each week at church, I know she is happy and at peace and she will one day greet me with that same hug and smile.
