Scott Preheim

Scott Preheim passed away peacefully on Saturday November 29, 2014. Raised in Reedley, Scott attended Reedley Schools graduating from Reedley High School in 1975. Scott attended Reedley College and San Diego State.

After working in the nursery business in San Diego County, Scott moved back to Reedley to join the family business, Preheim’s Jewelry, in 1987.

As a downtown merchant, Scott took great pride in maintaining a strong downtown business district. He was an active member in the Reedley Downtown Association and involved in the revitalization of the downtown business center. He was a strong proponent of Shop Local First. Scott was also a member of Reedley Rotary where he served as president and long time board member.

Scott will be remembered for his loving kindness as a son, husband, and father. He was a wonderful friend to many and will have a lasting impression on those he leaves behind.

Scott is survived by his parents, Jess and Evaline Preheim, his beloved wife Paula, his children son Drew Preheim, daughter Lindsey and her husband Nic Peters, daughter Carly and her husband Justin Weems, his sister Kristy Preheim and her husband Jeff and niece Ella, and many extended family and friends.

A Celebration of life will be held at the Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church on Friday, December 5th, 2014 at 10:00.
