Dale Elaine Kimball

She is survived by her beloved children: daughter Corey Oren and her husband Jeremy; and son Eric Cohen and his wife Phebe Kirkham; and by her three adored grandchildren: Phebe, Benjamin and Mayson. Other survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Stuart and Roberta Kimball; and her cousin and her husband, Barbara and Wane Baker.

Born September 23, 1944 to Arthur and Blanche Kimball, Dale grew up in the Bronx and attended Taft High School where she became lifelong friends with Eileen Samet. With her first husband, Stephen Cohen, Dale raised her children in Plainview. For many years she worked for a home improvement financing firm. Much later, she worked in retail for Les Copains at Saks, where her warmth with colleagues and customers was often remarked on.

Always stylish, Dale had a deep appreciation for beauty and fashion. She loved singing and theatre and performed often with the Broadhollow Theatre Company.

Her enthusiasm and caring will be deeply missed.
