Rabbi was very kind to me and my family when my mother passed away. As we had family all over the country we did the memorial service over zoom.  He was very patient and caring in handling that zoom memorial and it was very well received by my family.  
He always greeted me and my wife with a smile, and it was a pleasure having known him.  
He will be missed by my wife and me.  
May his memory be a blessing.

 Time is the vessel we use to pass through life. Time consists of three components: The past, the present and the future. The past comes first, but every past event is part of the present before it becomes part of the past. We are always living in the present. 
It is only when the present is over that it becomes the past.
The past, however, has a great impact on how we live in the present. If we keep brooding over events that occurred in the past, we will have an unhappy present and an unhappy future. If we learn from the past and apply what we have learned from the past to our lives in the present, we will be happier in both the present and the future.
Our goal in life should be to make the present as productive and as meaningful as we can. 
Our lives are always in a state of flux. In each stage of our lives, the objective reality of our situation changes, As we get older, we retire from our occupations, our health declines and cherished loved ones pass away. The objective reality of our lives changes. But what is most important is not the objective reality of how our lives change, but how, subjectively, we deal with these objective changes. How we adjust to the objective changes in our lives determines how happy we are in the present as well as the future. To get the most out of life, it might be worthwhile to ask the following questions about our lives:
What percentage of our time do we spend on engaging in meaningless activities just meant to help time pass? Is that what life is all about? Doing everything to help make time pass?
What percentage of our time do we spend on activities which will help other people? The needy? The community? Former colleagues?  The infirm? The bereaved? Which will expand the boundaries  of our knowledge and understanding? 
Which will spiritually elevate us?   
Time is limited and time is precious. We shouldn’t squander it.
