Robert Barry Drexler

DREXLER, Robert Barry of Southampton, sadly passed away on September 25, 2016. Survived by his loving wife Diane of over 60 years. Robert was a caring & devoted father to his only daughter Jill and her husband Fred Blum. Robert will be greatly missed by his most cherished grandchildren, Kyle, Rachel & Sara. Robert will truly be missed by all of his family and friends.

Robert served his country in the late 1950's into the early 1960's joining the Nation Guard Rainbow 42nd Division. He was most proud of his time spend in the national guard. After completing his services, he became a pioneer and much so ahead of his time as a business owner in electrical engineer sales, creating and expanding the electrical serving market we now know as "server farms".

Robert was a spontaneous and exciting man to be around. In his free time he loved to take Diane out, weather it was to a classy restaurant, a night out dancing or even travel plans across the world. Robert loved his sport sculling, and truly tried to be on the water any moment he was able too.

Funeral Service for Robert will be held on Wednesday 9/28/2016 at Temple Israel Riverhead at 12PM (490 Northville Tpke, Riverhead, NY 11901.) Immediately following the Temple service Interment to take place at the Agudas Achim Cemetery in East Setauket.
