David Prins, age 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, October 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Janice Prins. He is survived by his children Scott (Jessica) Prins, Lori Prins, Tadd Prins, Daryl (Elizabeth) Prins; grandchildren Justice and Savannah Prins, Courtney (Garrett) Miller, Kaylee (Jackson) Callahan, Austin and Alex Prins; great-grandson, Oliver Miller; sister Barbara (Fred) Ritsema.
David was a graduate of Ottawa Hills High School in 1962. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home - Dorr Chapel, 4330 18th Street, Dorr, MI 49323, with visitation from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. In memory of David, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan(www.aaawm.org/donate) or your local veteran support group.
