Susan Beth Bailey

Susan Bailey, age 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved older brother, Steve; and brother-in-law, Randy Cotter. She is survived by her husband, Al; children Allen and Tina Bailey, Elizabeth and Mike Sallie, Dinyel and Jeff Moomey; grandchildren Ashlee (Bill) Fairfield, Avery Sallie, Mason (Kendra) Moomey, Ella (Burke) Moomey, Natalie Bailey; great-grandchildren sweet Clara and Baby Billy; sister, Teri Cotter; brother, Jim (Colleen) Wickering; several nieces and nephews and too many friends to count.

Sue was born to John and Betty Wickering in 1950 and grew up in East Grand Rapids. She spent her weekends at the family house on Barlow Lake where she met the love of her life, Al, at The Note in 1967. Al and Sue were married in 1968 and moved from Grand Rapids to Dorr in 1976 where they made a home and raised a family. Sue loved her family more than anything in the world, but did save room for her pets and every friend the kids brought home. Her family and everyone she met would tell you she was the kindest, most honest and loving person you could ever meet.

Funeral services will take place 11 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2025 at Kubiak-Cook - Dorr Chapel, 4330 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to service.
