The family will receive friends at Westgate Church of Christ from 5:00 until 7:00 on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012. A devotion will follow at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Westgate Church of Christ “Children’s Homes Ministry.”

The family will also receive friends at Midway Memory Funeral Home in Talladega from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Midway Memorial Gardens with Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing.

Caleb was born November 19, 1992 in Decatur, Alabama and moved to Dothan at an early age. He was a 2011 graduate of Northview High School. At the time of his death he was a sophomore at Auburn University pursuing a major in civil engineering. He was an active member of Auburn Christian Student Center. Having a very competitive spirit, Caleb was an avid soccer player and enjoyed ultimate frisbee. He was a member of Westgate Church of Christ.

Caleb is survived by his parents, Gene and Wanda Kearley of Dothan; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Darris Kearley of Talladega and maternal grandparents, James and Lula Mae Coleman of Childersburg; a brother, Jacob Kearley and a sister, Lindsey (Ryne) Turner, all of Dothan; aunts, Donna (John) Slivon, Brenda (Jay) Bulger, Lynda (LaWayne) Rollins and Joan (Toby) Oxendine.
