

Alison Turner, born on September 25, 1958, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and talent touched everyone who knew her. She was the daughter of Albert Edward O’Brien and Marjorie Ellen O’Brien, who taught her the values of family, faith, and hard work.
Alison worked with the Douglas County School System for 13 years, where she supported students and staff with dedication and care.
For more than 20 years, she served as the pianist, organist, and Music Ministry Assistant at Central Baptist Church. Her music filled the church with warmth and brought comfort to many. She was an incredible singer whose voice reflected her deep love for worship and community.
Alison was also known for her amazing baking skills, a gift passed down from her father. Whether she was preparing treats for family gatherings or sharing baked goods with friends, her creations always came from the heart.
She loved the ocean, found joy in being around horses, and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. Above all, her greatest joy in life was her own children, whom she supported and loved unconditionally.
Alison is survived by her four children: Nicole Escobar (Christopher), Michael Turner, Matthew Turner, and Bailey Turner; her seven wonderful grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Coolidge, and brother-in-law, Bob Coolidge. Together, they will carry her memory forward with love.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
