

Mr. Charles Kenneth Morris, Sr., age 78, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016. He was born February 17, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia. He served his country as a member of the Army National Guard, receiving an honorable discharge. He worked as an electrician and was a member of IBEW #613. Mr. Morris was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was outgoing, loved the outdoors and loved life to the fullest. Mr. Morris was honest, a very open and loyal person, and was of the Christian faith. He was a member of the Sons of The American Legion, a mason and a member of the Yaraab Shrine.
Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, William B. and Willie Chapman Morris; a sister, Joyce Beisel; and brothers, Ray Morris, Wayne Morris and David Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Morris; sons, Kenny Morris and Randy Morris; a daughter, Pam Morris Milner; brothers, Bobby Morris and M. F. Morris; sister, Sharon Franklin; grandchildren, Kevin Garmon, Deanna Brewer, Jessica Moss, Chris Morris, Heather Morris and Brandi Dye; 7 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Josh Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
