Mr. Daniel Lee Wightwick, age 70, of Douglasville, GA passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born August 19, 1944 in Laurel, Mississippi. He was a Veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army. He was a police officer, working for several years with the New Rochelle Police Department.
Mr. Wightwick was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Edith Barlow Wightwick; a sister, Edie Heintz; and his daughter, Jennifer McNair.
He is survived by sons, Michael Wightwick, and Andrew Wightwick and his wife Andrea; sisters, Linda Richards and husband Joseph, and Frances King; grandchildren, Ricky Martini, Rachel Martini, Jane Wightwick, Jack Wightwick and Michael Wampler; great-grandchildren, Landon Butler and Emma Butler; numerous other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Rosehaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park.
