Mr. Donn Roy McKnight, II, age 48, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015. He was born January 30, 1967 in Clearwater, FL. Donnie spent his early childhood in Clearwater, FL and Cumberland Heights, TN. He attended Georgia Cumberland Academy, Countryside High School and St. Petersburg Jr. College. He loved fishing and enjoyed cooking for his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Isabella “Bella” McKnight and Caitlin Stoner of Clearwater, FL; his mother, Estelle Gordon Morton of Clearwater, FL; his father, Donn McKnight and wife Debbie of Douglasville, GA; sister, Tami McKnight of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Steven McKnight and wife Amy of Apison, TN; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
The funeral service for Donnie was held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Beach Memorial Chapel in Treasure Island, FL with Ret. Captain Calvin Dennie officiating. Graveside service and interment were held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Cumberland Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery in Cumberland Heights, TN with Pastor Jeff Walper officiating.
