Mrs. Atwood was preceded in death by her husband, Lee H. Atwood; and her parents Julius and Gertrude Brandel Höcke.
She is survived by her sons, Pete Atwood, Hans Atwood, and Thane Atwood; her daughters, Deborah Forrester, Trudy Forrester and Julia Lewis; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
Services will be planned at a later date.
