Evie Virginia Morris

Marvine lived in Douglasville, Georgia for years before moving to St. Augustine, Florida. She worked as an executive secretary for an architect firm for many years. Later, she moved to Texas after the death of her husband to be with her son and family. She was always a loving, graceful woman wanting to help anyone she could.

Marvine is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henley R Morris, brothers, Lloyd F Wellham, Andrew J Wellham, and Doy E Wellham. Left to cherish her memories are her son Kenneth R Morris and wife Deborah, granddaughters Kelly Drake and husband, Jerry, Amy Sallee and husband Joshua, and Erin Strawn. Marvine had 2 grandsons, Jayden Strawn and Mason Sallee, and 3 granddaughters, Kyleigh Sallee, Skylar Strawn and Kensington Drake. She also has a new granddaughter coming in April 18. She is survived by her brother Charles I Wellham and wife, Betty. Marvine is also survived by numerous loving and caring nieces and nephews as well as many treasured friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, December 29th, 2017 at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Overton of Beulah Baptist Church in Douglasville will be officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 28th, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
