Mr. Howard “Catfish” Ivey, age 87, of Douglasville, GA passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015. He was born July 15, 1927 in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Ivey was a Mason and he retired from the printing industry after 40 years.
Mr. Ivey was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Moore Ivey; a daughter, Kathleen Killian; and his parents, Richard and Gladys Lovell Ivey.
He is survived by his sons, Howard Ivey and wife Delores, Wesley Ivey, David Ivey, Stephen Ivey and wife Stacey; brothers, Paul Ivey and William Ivey; sister, Linda Flemming; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel.
