Mr. Howard Davis Jenkins, age 76, of Douglasville, GA passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018. He was born May 3, 1942 in Cartersville, GA. Mr. Jenkins retired after many years of service with Parsec Incorporated. He enjoyed watching old westerns, especially John Wayne movies. Howard had a big heart and was always helping people in any way that he could, His favorite pastime however, was spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Harp Jenkins; parents, Jeff and Ella Jenkins; brothers Jay and Bill as well as sisters, Lizzie, Betty, Lula, Joann and Sara.
Surviving him is his son, Rev. Barry (Lydia Taylor) Jenkins; daughter, Teresa (David) Przekop; brothers, John, George and Jack; sisters, Alice and Louise as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 2 o’clock pm until 4 o’clock pm. A graveside service will follow immediately at 4 o’clock pm in the Rose Haven Cemetery.
