James Edward Bishop II

James Edward Bishop II, age 56, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, January 16, 2023. James was born September 8, 1966 in Miami, Florida. He grew up in Florida, the only brother to three sisters. He joined the military, proudly serving his country as a Veteran of the U.S. Marines. After completing his duty with the Marines, he lived in North Carolina before settling in Douglas County. A devoted father, his daughter, Lili, was the joy of his life. In his spare time, James loved cooking, baking and country music, especially singing and enjoyed being a karaoke singer. He was an avid fan of wrestling and the Miami Dolphins. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, James E. and Meri Jill (Miller) Bishop; his beloved daughter, Lili Bishop; sisters, Dolores Bishop, Kimberly Kelley and Hilary Bishop; nieces and nephews, P.J. Pieper, Madison Bishop, Cody Lilley and Erica Lilley; as well as other extended family members and numerous friends. James will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
