A native of Douglasville, Georgia, Mrs. Jordan was born on August 12, 1938, the daughter of the late Paul and Frances Hay Jordan. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglasville and the Hope Two Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Jordan and a grandson, Blake Easterwood.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Mr. Joe C. Jordan. Her children; Karen and Chris Easterwood, Kelly and Bryan Edenfield, Kay and Doug Locke and Tim and Becky Jordan. Ten grandchildren and nineteen great=-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jordan will be conducted on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. from the Rosehaven Chapel with Dr. John Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosehaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home
Mrs. Jordan’s grandson will serve as active pallbearers.
