Marilyn Marie Galloway, age 78, of Fayetteville, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. She was born February 12, 1943 in Topeka, Kansas. A strong, caring and selfless woman, Marilyn took care of the farm and her girls all by herself. She was a “handy woman”, who could fix anything herself. She didn’t let anyone tell her that she couldn’t do something—she would always find a way. At the age of 13, Marilyn gave herself a tattoo of her initials at home with her brother's tattoo kit he brought home from his service overseas. She had a career that spanned over 20 years with Georgia Crown Distributing Company. Marilyn will be missed by all who knew her.
Marilyn was preceded in death by the love of her life and her former husband, David K. Galloway; her father, Russell Loveland; son, Michael Galloway; and grandson, David Tristan Coleman.
Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Melanie Coleman (Drew), Monica Kampel (Eric), and Marlo Robinson (Jason); mother, Lois Faye Loveland-Rice; brother, Larry Loveland; sister, Judy Stuewe; 10 grandchildren, Kyle Green, Murphy Robinson, Daniel “Tres” Coleman, III, Garrett Ashton Coleman, Gavynn Marie Coleman, Lauren Jenkins, Michael Kampel, Wyatt Kampel, Abbey Kampel and Jak Kampel; three great-grandchildren, Circe Haynes, Gunner Green and Griffin Green.
