Born April 25, 1959, in Anderson, Indiana, Mitzie lived life to the fullest. She loved her family, her friends and her animals. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1977.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brown.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Dan and Joanne Ritenour, of Frankton, IN; mother and stepfather, Shirley and Lawrence Smith, of Anderson, IN; son and daughter-in-law, Ty and Megan Barker of Carrollton, GA; two grandsons, Bryce and Benjamin Barker; brother and sister-in-law, Dannie and Terri Ritenour, of Warsaw, IN; several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the nurses and physicians who took care of her during her time at Traditions Nursing and Rehabilitation.
In keeping with her wishes, a private ceremony will be held.
