Nancy Ruth Murphy was born May 13, 1946. She married Vance Boyd Murphy Sr. April 30, 1966. They had a loving marriage of fifty four years. Her dream as a young girl was to be a missionary and she fulfilled that by serving in the ministry for many years. She completed numerous mission trips going to Israel (5 times), Guatemala (9 times), Mexico, Ukraine (3 times), China (2 times), Mozambique, South Africa (3 times), Barbados and South Korea. She served as a licensed minister with Atlanta Revival Center for 20 years up until January of 2020. She wrote two books "How you and your Church can Feed and Clothe Thousands" and "Called to the Nations".
She also served as an outreach director with the Church of God of Prophecy and four years with Atlanta Revival Center. She started a food and clothes ministry at The Church of God of Prophecy and continued blessing people at Atlanta Revival Center for another four years ministering to people, providing food and clothes. She was a prayer warrior, always had a heart to pray for people, serve and love them unconditionally. Her quiet place was the beach. She loved to travel to Hawaii and made over ten trips there with her family as a tradition as well as many trips to Callaway Gardens.
She was preceded by her Mother Rebbie Smith, her husband Boyd Murphy Sr., John Boyd Murphy (father-in -law) Alberta Murphy, (mother-in-law), brother Thomas Allen Smith, and her grandson Joshua Boyd Murphy.

She is also survived by her daughter Sherry Sharp, son Vance Boyd Murphy Jr., and Laura Murphy (wife) and grandchildren, Jacob Kent, Jordan and Stefano Canducci, Luke Murphy and Lauren Murphy as well as three great grandchildren, Guilio, Elena and Dillon.
She loved Jesus with all her heart from a young girl and we know she is dancing with her beloved Saviour. Rest in Peace until we meet again.
