Mr. Paul L. Tolbert, age 95, of Douglasville, GA passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015. He was born May 10, 1920 in Villa Rica, GA. Mr. Tolbert loved to build, hunt and tinker with things, fixing and unfixing them. He most especially loved to spend time with his family though.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild.
He is survived by his wife, Glennie Tolbert; step-children: Ronald and Portia Pittman; Sandra and Joe Bagley, Glen and Sandra Pittman, Kathi and Don Pierce, Cindi Hammock and Mark Pittman; children: Patricia and David Nelson, Ilene Bowman, Annette and Gary Castile, Diane and Steven Justis, Charlene and Tony Wasno; thirty-two grandchildren; seventy-two great-grandchildren; twenty-two great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous other family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 5 until 7 o’clock pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11 o’clock am from the Rosehaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica, GA.
