Mr. Steve Daniel Smith, age 57, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014. He was born February 4, 1957 in Rockmart, GA. Steve worked as Maintenance Supervisor for The Arbors at Wesley Pond Apartments. He held a Green Belt in Martial Arts; loved spending time with his family and he loved to drive.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father, William A. Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Kathryn Weaver of Rockmart, GA; brother, William R. Smith and wife Phyllis of Rockmart, GA; and sister, Shelia Stanczak and husband Barry of Powder Springs, GA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Reverend Larry Ritch officiating.
