I was blessed to have had the opportunity to work together with Brian on many occasions, most recently as captains at Station 1 for a few of my last years at DFD. Brian was a great man and a very dear friend who I will greatly miss. Jeanmarie and I will keep Brian in our thoughts and prayers, as well as April, McKenzie, Logan, Gayla, and Markie. Brian will be missed by all, but never forgotten. Rest in Peace my friend.

Brian and I first came to know each other way back in Pre-School back at St. Marks. Great memories during my time there with Brian. Little League sports, mock Kiss Concerts at Marty and Jon Davis' house, etc. You left us way too soon my friend. Anyone who met or knew Brian was a better person simply for that. Your hard work, dedication and devotion to the men and women of DFD will never be forgotten. God Bless and comfort Gayla,Amy,April,Logan, McKenzie and the rest of the Wolf family. See you again someday my friend. Say hi to my Dad for me.

Thanks for being a great friend growing up and roaming the streets of Downey. May you rest in peace and may God look after your family.

Brian and I met in high school, such an amazing friend and kind soul. His thoughtful consideration that remains in minds of those whose lives he touched. He taught lessons to many, advised some of most powerful young men in the Fire Department and yet remained humble through all of it. My heart, my thoughts and all my prayers go out to his beautiful family and his Downey Fire Department Family.

Brian and I go back to the 3rd grade through 12th.  We played sports together and basically grew up together. He was a great friend and a genuinely humble and sincere person. 
I am very saddened to hear this news.  My thoughts and condolences are with his family.

Our hearts are broken. "All men are created equal, but then, a few became firefighters."  Rest in peace Brian.
