

Joe made his Transition peacefully, in his home of over 50 years, in Norwalk, California, on July 23, 2012. He was 89.
Served His Country during WWII as an Army Paratrooper. He was his Troops Bugler. Avid musician, composer and band leader, for over 75 years. Accomplished many instruments, his instrument of choice and passion was the Trumpet.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, Agapitos & Maria Lara, sister Anita, brother Cruz and first wife Amelia Licon, to whom he was married to until her passing in 1972.
Survived by his wife of 37 years, Lillian, children Tom, Terri, Cecelia, Theresa, Linda and Lisa, 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Loved, Respected and Adored by all those that crossed his path.
Dad, Grandpa, Popi, Brother...
