Eleanor O Snyder

Nursing Home.

Born April 8, 1919 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Samuel G. and Anna (Wiser) Patton.

Mrs. Snyder married the late Quentin Calvin Snyder on September 28, 1937 in DuBois.

She was a homemaker and a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school at and also taught Sunday school at First United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the DuBois Nautalus Club. She was an avid sewer and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Snyder is survived by two sons; Gilbert L. Snyder of Gaithersburg, MD and William C. Snyder

and his wife Sharen of Ogden, Utah. And five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was the last member of her generation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters; Claire Miller and Bess Buckholz, three

brothers Gilbert Patton, Roy Patton and Thomas Patton.

Funeral services will be held at Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 11AM with Rev. Robert Zilhaver officiating.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel, DuBois from 2-4 and 7-9PM. An additional viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service.

Memorials may be made to the Lakeside Methodist Church and the DuBois Nursing Home.
