Irene M. Hoover

Born on September 23, 1916 the daughter of the late William and Margaret( Moore ) Beer.

She worked for BF Goodrich and Jewell TC.

Irene was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and belonged to the women’s groups at the church. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a sister, Jean Noble of Brockway, four grandchildren, Paul and his wife Jeanne Hoover of DuBois, Blaine “Buddy” Hoover Jr. and his wife Darla of Curvinsville, Amy Hoover Marshall of DuBois and Albert and his wife Brenda Hoover of DuBois; five great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hoover was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon Hoover, son V. Blaine Hoover, two brothers: Bill and Heb Beer and a sister Betty Carroll.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc.
