Joel Thomas Jr.

Born on January 17, 1983, in DuBois, the son of Joel Thomas Sr. and Sandra (Dandoy) Thomas, of DuBois.

Joel was a graduate of DuBois Area High School class of 2001, where he participated in varsity baseball. He had worked for the former National City Bank and currently was employed at Thomas Full Service Auto-n-Truck, Inc.

He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his two daughters.

Joel is survived by his two daughters: Ariella and Cheyenne Thomas, at home, Fiancée Amber Shephard of DuBois, paternal grandparents, Wayne and Beverly Thomas of Grampian and maternal grandparents, Gary Sr. and Marie Dandoy of DuBois.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc., with Pastor Charles Lee officiating.

Friends will be received on Saturday, October 27, from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Sunday from 1:00PM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
