Abigail "Abby" Taylor Reed

Abigail “Abby” Taylor Reed, 14 days old, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio, at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She was born on December 29, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, the beloved daughter of Devon and Michael Reed.

Abby was the younger twin to her sister, Isabell, by just three minutes, and from the very beginning she made her presence known. Though small, Abby was feisty and always moving. Abby was a miracle baby, born after a difficult and complicated pregnancy where at times Abby’s survival was uncertain. With the required extra pregnancy monitoring, while watching her, it was obvious Abby was resilient and determined.

Her name carried deep meaning: Abigail, chosen when she was originally Twin “A”, and Taylor, honoring important family members who are forever part of her story.

Abby is survived by her loving parents, Devon and Michael; her big sister, Sophia; her twin sister, Isabell; and her grandparents, Richard and Shirley Reed, and Kim and Dave Chappell. She will be forever cherished and remembered for the joy, love, and hope she brought into the world in her brief time.

Although we only had two weeks with Abby after birth, we are grateful for every moment and memory from that time.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 11:00am at Schoedinger Dublin; 5980 Perimeter Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Abby’s memory to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
