Cindy Frances Cutshall passed away on December 31, 2025. Cindy was born on February 22, 1951 to Ellen and Francis Cutshall. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, David Downing; their daughter Brenna and her husband James; two grandchildren, Maddie and Ben, who always made her laugh; and their dog, Finn. Cindy is also survived by two sisters, several sister and brother in laws, and several nieces and nephews.
Incredibly intelligent and full of life, Cindy was known for her jokes, warmth, and happy smile. She loved traveling with her family, especially to Tuscany, Kauai, Napa Valley, and the south of France.
She was always up for an adventure, a good meal or a well-made margarita.
A proud graduate of Penn State and The University of Montana, a strong feminist, and an exceptional cook - Cindy will be deeply missed and always remembered.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cindy's memory to Children's Home Society of Minnesota, GRIN Rescue, or the World Central Kitchen.
