

Diane Laser was born on April 29, 1959, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Walter and Winifred Kuhlman. A 1977 graduate of Norwalk High School, she was an active student, serving on the drill team as a Truckerette, a “Batgirl” and statistician for the boys’ varsity baseball team, and a member of the pep club. She went on to graduate from Bliss College in 1981 with a degree in Business. Diane built a long and successful career as a Business Analyst, working for Liberty Mutual (formerly State Auto) from 2011 to the present, and previously for Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans from 1979 to 1991 and again from 2006 to 2010.
A devoted member of Dublin Baptist Church, Diane served on the Executive Council, Ladies Ministry, and Decorating Committee, and throughout the years taught Conversational English and volunteered in the nursery and on various other committees. She enjoyed gardening, baking, walking in the park, and spending time with her friends and family. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Winifred Kuhlman. She is survived by her husband, Joel R. Laser of Dublin; her sons, Nathanael Laser of Dublin and Nicolas (Alyssa) Laser of Marysville; her brothers, Ronald (Michele) Kuhlman of Brooksville, Florida, John (Sherida) Kuhlman of Toledo, and George (Dee Ann) Kuhlman of Norwalk; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also the proud grandmother of Jameson and pet grandparent to her granddog, Ivy.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 24 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, October 25, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Dublin Baptist Church, 7195 Coffman Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017. A luncheon will be held at the church from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.
