

Doug was born on February 9, 1961, to Charles August Klein and Maxine O’Reilley. Doug is preceded in death by his grandparents, his brother Gregory Klein, and his mother Maxine O’Reilley.
Doug is survived by his wife Amy Rose, his father Charles Klein, his stepmother Ruth Klein, and a host of powerlifters, racing members, friends and family members near and far.
Doug completed his schooling at Big Walnut High School. Later in his career Doug retired as a dedicated and valued employee at Scioto Ready Mix
Doug was an exceptionally skilled powerlifter and his personal bests at sanctioned competitions include; squatting 800 lbs, benching 500 lbs, and a deadlift of 750 lbs.
Doug was known for his strong opinions and his caring heart. He was a dedicated friend and partner, always willing to lend a helping hand. Doug was immensely patriotic and cared deeply for his country.
Doug had a passion for cars and which he spent countless hours tending to his most beloved ones such as Rage, Menace, and of course White Knuckles 2.0. He was very inventive and intuitive with vehicles. Doug was a proud member of The UMTR Stick Shift Racing Organization and found great joy and adrenaline in racing.
Doug was a blessing to his family and to everyone who knew him. He was a charismatic spirit with a contagious laugh, and possessed a kind loving soul that will live on in the hearts of his wife, father, brothers, and forever friends.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness in the hearts of those he touched.
Visitation hours will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 8th following a memorial service at 3 pm at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Dr, Dublin, OH 43017.
