Doug was born on February 3, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana. A three-sport athlete in high school, Doug maintained his love of sports throughout his life. He enjoyed instructing all three of his children in their athletic endeavors and was a volunteer coach. He was an avid Purdue football fan, tailgating at their home games for more than 40 years. He also enjoyed college basketball, spending time with his family and friends in Siesta Key, Florida, playing golf at The Country Club at Muirfield, and watching golf, especially the Memorial Tournament.
Doug was a 1964 graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. After graduating with a master’s degree in industrial psychology from Western Michigan University, he embarked on a highly successful 20-year career as a pharmaceutical sales and marketing executive in locations across the U.S. and Europe with Eli Lilly, followed by his move to Roxane Laboratories in Columbus, Ohio, as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. He was known for his strategic vision and innovation as well as his entertaining anecdotes!
In 1993, Doug and Bonnie changed career directions and founded Douglas Webb & Associates, now called TenPoint Complete. His second career led him to the collision repair industry and new colleagues and friends whom he cherished. Doug was an active leader and volunteer in the industry right up until his death. His impact was acknowledged in 2021 with induction into the Collision Industry Hall of Eagles, the most prestigious honor in the field. Another highlight of his second career was the opportunity to work with his son, John, and the two enjoyed many travels and exploits together over the decades. TenPoint Complete has also twice been named Employer of the Year by the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission.
Doug’s quick wit, incisive commentary, and ability to connect will be missed by all his friends and family. A lover of dogs, Doug also leaves behind Casey and Leon. Doug was a man of faith and a longtime member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 3500 Mill Run Drive, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
