Jeffery Bradshaw, 66, of Dublin, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at his home. He was born September 30, 1959, in Mansfield, Ohio, the eldest of seven children to the late Larry and Rosalee (Boggs) Bradshaw.
Jeffery began this game called life on Spayer Lane. He and his six siblings ran wild and free, building a reputation for the Bradshaws as they grew up in Mansfield. He loved spending time with his father in nature, and from his father, he learned to fear nothing, even though they had nothing. Jeffery graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1978. He studied at The Ohio State University, where he would become the treasurer of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. There, he met many of his greatest friends, and those friendships lasted a lifetime. To pay himself through college, he worked summers at the Empire-Reeves/Detroit Steel Mill in Mansfield. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting in 1983. He was the first of his family to attend and graduate college. After graduating, he became a CPA, and he started his career at Coopers & Lybrand. He continued his accountancy at Limited Brands before a career pivot that would shape the rest of his life. He took a turn into the wholesale clothing business and created MJR Sales, now known as DFWh, with one of his closest friends from college, and they worked together for the rest of his life.
In September of 1984, he met Kathy Hill. They had their first date on Jeffery’s birthday, and the rest is history. They were married August 7, 1993, and settled in Dublin the same year. They had two sons, and they provided them with a world which spilled over with love and happiness. He taught his children about gratitude, integrity, honor, and the countless other values that have allowed them to go forward in this world.
Jeffery continued his love of nature throughout his life. He took his sons camping and fishing where they always had their own Cherokee warrior as a guide. Like his father, Jeffery knew every tree, plant, and animal, and he taught his sons about the beauty of wildlife. He inherited his mother’s culinary skills, so he loved to cook for family and friends who would visit his home. He loved music, but he was always too humble to show that he had the most beautiful voice. His taste was beyond eclectic, as he had an appreciative ear which he used to collect a massive library of music in his head. His everlasting charm, wit, and contagious laugh and smile could brighten even the darkest of days. The most proficient storyteller of all, he commanded many campfires and bestowed upon his audience tales of epic proportion. He was never frugal with passing on cultural knowledge and life experiences to all who were eager to learn, and he brought joy to everyone in his life through his willingness to give endlessly with no expectation of return. He always wanted to be a teacher, and he achieved that when he became a partner with the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University as a guest lecturer for the Master’s programs. He loved his work, and he spent many years pursuing greatness in his field. Even so, after years of dedication to his career, he always insisted that his greatest investments of all were his sons.
Jeffery is survived by his wife, Kathy Bradshaw, his two sons, Dylan Bradshaw and Dane Bradshaw, four of his siblings, Sheila Bradshaw (Marty Huffman), Brenda (Sonnie) Hermann, Alice Matthews, and Matt (Celeste) Bradshaw, fourteen nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Timberly, Brittney, Morgan, Blake, Alec, Joshua, Hunter, Race, Gunner, Dax, Travis, Kelsey, and Josh and twelve great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Larry and Rosalee Bradshaw, Jeffery is preceded in death by his brothers, Shannon Bradshaw and Christopher Bradshaw, and his nephew, Jarred Bradshaw.
There are many other loved family and friends, living and deceased, that shared and enriched his life.
To his family, Jeffery is the greatest man ever – a super hero to his sons. The pain of his loss is beyond comprehension, but he will always be present to guide us. His love is infinite, and he will live within us, always.
Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Indian Run United Methodist Church, 6305 Brand Road, Dublin, Ohio 43016. The celebration of life will follow at 3:00 p.m.
