Josephine "Jo" L. Jones

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, J. Robert Jones. They were married in Dover, Ohio on September 30, 1961.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents Fred M. and Edith (Cercone) Tedesco and her two sisters; Christine (Terry) Dudziak of Dover, Ohio and Theresa (Rod) Schwendiman of New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Jo is lovingly remembered by her children Jay S. (Michele) Jones and Gina J. (Brian) Howe and her grandchildren, Logan Howe, Morgan Howe, and Jacob Jones.

Jo was employed in the Dover School System as a Secretary for 12 years before moving to Dublin, Ohio in 1990 following her husband’s career move. Following the move, Jo chose a career in health care working for Caremark and NMC Home Health Care companies, both located in Columbus, Ohio. After retirement, Jo missed interaction with people and accepted a job with Sam’s Club as a product demonstrator.

She made friends easily, was a good listener, and offered assistance to all those in need. She was a wonderful sister, wife and mother and will be missed by her friends and family.

Visitation will be held at Schoedinger Dublin; 5980 Perimeter Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017 on Tuesday June 27, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 28, 2023 at 11am at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church; 7179 Avery Road Dublin, Ohio 43017.
