Malissa "Trudy" Gertrude Geary

Malissa Gertrude “Trudy”, 96, of Dublin, Ohio passed away on March 2, 2023. She was born on July 11, 1926 to the late Walter and Mary Temple. She was a graduate from Hilliard High school and during her time in high school she enjoyed being part of the play productions as well as being a beautiful pianist. Throughout her childhood her best friend was Virginia Gard Schreck with whom she shared many happy memories. For 20 years she worked at Lazarus in Northland Mall in the dress department. A job she both enjoyed and loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Mary Temple, her husband of 66 years Donald Geary, and granddaughter, Vicki Hunt. She will be deeply missed by her children Michael Geary, Carla Geary and Lori James; grandchildren David (Shannon) Geary, Brian (Lynn) Geary, Robyn and Bob Armstrong, Jeannine James, Steven James and Danny James. Malissa is also survived by her great-grandchildren Alyssia, Matthew, Brandon, Alex, and Makayla as well as one great great grandchild Lucas.

Family will receive friends on Friday March 10, 2023 from 5-7pm at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN; 5980 Perimeter Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017. A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 11, 2023 at 10am at Amlin United Methodist Church 5441 Cosgray Road Dublin, Ohio 43016. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’ Hospital or Amlin United Methodist Church.
