

Patricia Grace Bowman of Telluride, Colorado and Dublin, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her home in Dublin, Ohio on December 2, 2023 at the age of 81 years after a four year battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), an atypical form of Parkinson’s disease. Pat was born October 15, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John and Dorothy Dann.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 60 years David Bowman. She is also survived by their two children son John Bowman and his wife Marjorie of Waco, TX, and daughter Karen Doyle and her husband Chris of Simpsonville, SC. Pat is also survived by her sister Gloria Reynolds and her husband Richard of Sylvania, Ohio and brother Bob Dann and his wife Lynda of Loveland, Ohio. Additionally, Patricia and David have six grandchildren Grant, Preston, Grace Ann, Elizabeth, Madison and David and one great grandson, Jack. She also has many loving nieces and nephews.
Pat grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Western Hills High School in 1960. During high school she was involved in Girl Scout Troop 118 and dance. She attended Purdue University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics with an emphasis in Food Science and Business in 1964. Pat and Dave met during her freshman year at Purdue and they were married on August 31, 1963. She was an assistant manager at a dining hall cafeteria at Purdue after graduation while she was doing post graduate work.
Pat and Dave moved from West Lafayette, Indiana to Columbus, Ohio in 1970. They relocated to Dublin, Ohio in 1992. Pat worked for Borden in their recipe test kitchen.
Pat had a wonderful sense of humor and love of adventure. She enjoyed hiking, camping, backpacking and skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Her favorite place to visit was Yellowstone National Park. They eventually fell in love with and built a home in Telluride, Colorado which they enjoyed for 23 years.
Pat was an avid traveler. She enjoyed fine food and wine which consequently resulted in travels to her favorite places including the Napa Valley in California and many years of international travel across Italy.
She was a member of St Andrew Presbyterian church in Columbus.
A celebration of life service is planned for March 16, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Schoedinger Dublin; 5980 Perimeter Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017 with a visitation immediately following from 4:00PM to 6:00PM.
