Patricia “Pat” Chambers, 90, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on December 12, 2023. She was born on April 16, 1933, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to the late Peter and Leona Heffley. Pat was a graduate of Ohio State University. She worked and retired from IBM as a systems engineer.
She was an avid dancer who especially loved ballet. She was always kind to anyone and everyone and was a volunteer with Cat Welfare Animal Activists. Pat had an excitement for life, was feisty and a one of a kind person.
Pat will be deeply missed by her daughter, Celena, and daughter-in-law, Rachel. She is survived by her brother, Robert (Barbara) Heffley, and nieces Mari Derouaux and Debbie (John) Orlando as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pat is preceded in death by her husband, William, and her parents, Peter and Leona.
A visitation will be held at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday December 18, 2023, with a time of remembrance at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest contributions to be made to the Cat Welfare Association or Columbus Humane.
