Robert “Rob” Tidd, age 60, passed away on December 11, 2025, of natural causes. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, on August 2, 1965. Rob was a graduate of East High School and spent his life working with the things he loved most – engines, machines, and the joy of the open road. Over the years he built a dedicated career at Reynolds Cycle, NAPA Auto Store, and Honda, where his expertise and work ethic left a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike.
Rob was happiest riding his motorcycle or behind the wheel of a Dodge muscle car. He loved working on bikes and cars just as much as he loved taking them out for a ride.
He is survived by his wife Christine; his stepson, Shawn Hamilton; his sister, Julie Hart; his nephews Cory Speakman, Mark Harley; nieces Kyleigh Speakman and Mara Harley; his cousins, Sharon Fetzer and John Ackerman; and many other beloved relatives, in-laws, and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Aline, and his sister, Patty Harley.
Visitation will be held at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017 on Friday, December 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a time of remembrance at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rob’s name to a charity of your choice.
