Brent D. Olson

Brent was raised in Duluth and graduated from East High School. He was in the Army from September 1974 to December 1978 and he served in the Motor Pool then in the Entrance station in Minneapolis, MN. Brent worked for over 28 years for Verso Paper Company as a stock prep operator.

He loved hunting, camping, fishing, trapping and especially spending time with his family.

Brent was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Marie; father, Darrell; grandparents, Oliver (Lillian) Larson and Anton (Nancy) Olson; and in-laws, Lois (Dennis) Oberg and Robert Jenkins.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 42 years, Melody Olson of Duluth; his two daughters, April (Erick) Kunst and Amy (Mike) Kolodge; five grandchildren, Wesley (Kassi), Austin, Harmonie, Melodie, and Cadence; great-grandchildren, Landon, Carter, and Elizabeth; mother, Pearl Olson; sister, Sheryl (Paul) Hernandez; brother, Bryan (Patti); and many nieces and nephews, but two that held a special place in his heart, Jennafer (James) Hernandez and Christopher (Traci) Hernandez.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday July 29, 2016 at Jarvi Dowd Funeral Home, 925 East 4th Street, Duluth. The visitation will continue from 10:00 until the 12:00 noon Funeral service Saturday, July 30, 2016 at The Lutheran Church of The Good Shepherd, 1325 N 45th Ave. E., Duluth.
