Dorothy was born June 1, 1934 in Brainerd, MN to the late Clarence and Irene (Nelson) Flansburg.
Dorothy married Carroll Nygaard January 15, 1955 in Brainerd, MN and they enjoyed 57 years together.
Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her husband, Carroll Nygaard of Duluth, MN; one son Craig (Jackie) Nygaard of Washington, D.C.; and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 8th 2012 at Jarvi Dowd Funeral Home 925 E. 4th Street. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
