Lawrence was born in Duluth, MN on January 28, 1929 to Howard and Florence MacDonald.
He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Richard Stover and brothers-in-law, Robert Carlson and Bud Stover.
Lawrence is survived by sisters, Elaine Stover and Anna Mae Carlson; nieces, Roberta Carlson and Sharon (Jack) Elmquist; nephews, Lawrence (Karen) Carlson and James (Barbara) Stover; Richard Stover’s widow, Mary Stover as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
