

Lois was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. She was very active in church and sang in the choir. Lois was a very hard worker her whole life and retired from St. Luke’s. She also loved to play bingo.
Lois is preceded in death by her brother, Edward.
She is survived by her son, Paul Trogdon of Schroeder; dauthers, Terri Maki of Chisholm and Mary Beth (Gary) Merila of Duluth; brothers, John (Claudia) Nickila and Arnie Nickila, both of Duluth; sisters, Marion (Ron) Rico of St. Louis Park and Betty (Doug) Galinski of Moundsview; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Lois is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Bell Brothers Funeral Home, Duluth. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at Oneota Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to United Protestant Church, Morgan Park.
