

Paul attended Wrenshall School, where he played football and baseball and was in the band. He was an avid snowboarder and skier, spending long hours on the slopes at nearby Mont du Lac and Spirit Mountain. He was a member of Fond du Lac Community Church. After his marriage he moved to the Carolinas and later to Florida, where he worked as a specialist installing private elevators. A sociable young man, Paul also enjoyed fishing, cooking and singing, and was looking forward to studying marketing at Lake Superior College in Duluth.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Warren Shea, in 2004.
Paul is survived by his wife, Crista and children, James and Grace of Apple Valley, Minn.; his mother, Diane of Duluth; his brother, Jeremy of Duluth; grandparents, Roman and Gertrude Kostick of Ladysmith, Wis.; an aunt, June (Chuck Whisman) Stuner of Winchester, Wis.; an uncle, Bob (Ardis) Shea of Duluth; seven cousins, Kevin Shea, Stephanie Shea and Kathy Thro, all of Duluth, Ginger Brousel and Bradley Stuner, of Winchester, Mike Shea of Wheatland, WY, and John Shea of North Branch, MI; and many friends who loved him.
Visitation from 5:00 to 7:00pm Thursday, Oct. 13th at the Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601, N. 56th Ave. W. and will continue from 10:00am until the 11:00am funeral service Friday, October 14th at Fond du Lac Community Church, 521 131st Ave, W. Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
