

Rod was born December 18th, 1941 in Duluth to Angela and Nick Tatalovich.
Rod graduated from Morgan Park High School, then went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force.
Rod met and married his wife, Lenore Billeter, of 49 years. He worked 33 years for the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Most currently he was working for the City of Duluth at the public library.
Rod was an avid MN Vikings fan. He enjoyed bowling and participated in bowling leagues for many years alongside the MN highway department. Rod had a big heart and was a role model that his family looked up to. Rod loved his grandchildren dearly and had a special place in his heart for his grandchild Mariah, whom he had a hand in raising. Rod was a kind, generous soul, who had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be truly and dearly missed.
Rod is survived by his wife, Lenore; his children: Scott (Tammy), Linda, Kevin, Lori, Lana (Bill), and Leah; His grandchildren: Kyle, Christopher, Lynette, Devin, Mariah, Dylan, Heather, Jacob, and Emma; Also survived by his sister, Sandy Rooney (Tony); and many other friends and relatives.
Visitation: 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. Service, Thursday, March 17, 2016, in Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N 56th Ave W, Duluth.
