Hopps, Geoffrey passed away suddenly and peacefully at Victoria General Hospital on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the age of 79. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Patricia and the many friends and families of the Duncan, Crofton, and Cowichan area. Geoff will also be missed by his son Mike and daughter Valerie, and his brother Dave. Geoff was well known in the community, having been a member of the Vintage Car Club, BC Forest Museum, the Antique Tractor Club. He is also remembered as the longtime owner of Crofton Auto Service Center. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Cowichan Exhibition Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Geoff's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
