Absent from the body, present with the Lord who she loved and served. This became a reality for Gloria Jo Troll in the early morning of April 10, 2013. Gloria was born on July 23, 1946 in Vancouver and was a proud Horseshoe Bay resident and equally proud to be a part of her family’s restaurant –Troll’s. She moved to Vancouver Island in 1971. Gloria was an avid reader of missionary books, was a stateswoman in her own right. She leaves behind her loving brothers Gary(Carol) and Bob(Judy), aunt Bea, uncle Gordie, nieces and nephews, hundreds of friends and her Coastal Missions family. Gloria loved sports and never gave up on the Canucks. A Celebration of life will be held Saturday June 15 in Chemanius, place to be announced.
