Born in Nottingham, England to parents Jesse and Alice Dallison, Gwen is survived by her husband George, children Jill (Bill) and Chris (Sherry), three grandkids Matt, Keyanna (Dylan) and Krysta (Blayke), and two great-grandchildren Kaz and Harper. She was predeceased by her daughter Joanna.
She immigrated to Canada in 1974 with her three children and two dogs and settled in Alberta. In 1984, Gwen and the kids moved to Qualicum Beach. She later met and married our wonderful step dad, George.
Gwen was a longtime member of the St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Qualicum Beach where she was a member of the church choir. She had the most beautiful alto voice and loved singing with George who played the piano. She loved the sea and would go there every day.
She did not want a service so the family had a private gathering at her favourite spot on the beach.
My mind still talks to you and my heart still looks for you, but my soul knows you’re at peace.
