It is with devastation and broken hearts that we have had to say goodbye to my beautiful girl at 41 years of age. Predeceased by her Dad, Robert Moss in April of 2015, she leaves behind her Mom Janet, sister Heather, brother Robert and brother Stephen (Michelle), niece Alissa and two nephews Ethan and Sean - as well as many friends and extended family, having spent most of her life on Vancouver Island.
Jennifer was born in Duncan; the second of four children of Bob and Janet Moss. Always a free spirit, she could speak easily to anyone and would genuinely help others if she could. Jen would take on people with problems that most would run from. She understood the value of every life more than most and wouldn’t hesitate to help if she could.
Can’t imagine what our lives will hold going forward, but I want to thank the staff (my work family) of the COWICHAN AQUATIC CENTRE, for their never ending love and generous support through this uncharted territory; my employer the Municipality of North Cowichan for their kind and generous support, and my fellow members of CUPE, president Kirsten Boyden and elected officials for their beautiful words of support and generosity. Special thanks to friends of Jen who continue to send wishes of condolence and love - my daughter was well loved and my thanks to all of you who continue to hold me up.
Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. Arrangements were made through First Memorial in Duncan - Cremation.
