

Lois was born in Vancouver on September 20, 1936 and passed away May 26, 2025, at the age of 87.
Lois wore many hats through the years. Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mom, Step Mom, Auntie, Grandma, Great Grandma and Friend. She loved her family and she he loved her friends. She could be found spending time at her sewing machine creating beautiful clothing or helping out with mending and altering. If not at her sewing machine, she would be in her garden, pulling weeds and planting and harvesting her vegetables.
Lois’ home was always open to whoever came to the door but loved it best when her grandchildren and great grandchildren came to visit. She would tell you that the best years of her life were spent in YouBou on Cowichan Lake.
Survived by her brother Brian, her children, Mara-Lee (Dave), Mark and Melita (Bob) and grandchildren Kyle, Rylie (James), Michelle (Dustin) and great grandchildren, Ayla, Emerson, Logan, Charlotte, Kinsley, Chloe and Valerie
She is predeceased by her parents Earl and Jean, her brother Garry and her husband John.
There will be a service at St Christopher and St. Aidan Anglican Church, 70 Cowichan Ave West, Lake Cowichan at 11:30am on Monday, June 2, 2025, followed by a tea in the church hall
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the BC Lung Association.
